Dude this was 1984 you would've been about 4 years old. I didn't see any police there just a trashed policecar in the visitor centre carpark and a big hells angel with an ill fitting police helmet on his head, I asked him if he had eaten the copper he said "yes but I've got a stomach ache now".

No, not the horses but I remember the Yin-Yang. There was some bloke who'd obviously done a runner from a psychiatric hospital, nice enough but freaked you out a bit. Got picked up by the DS the next morning, strip searched while tripping our bollocks off.

I want a Trippy backwards clock Time machine my head is still there but my body ain't. Some one told me not to take the ying yang acid but I did anyway. Best trip of my life. Does anyone remember the big herd of horses that came into the campsite in the middle of the night.

Wow - Youtube is fantastic - what a blast-from-the-past to find this little gem! Hearing/seeing RH play "Welcome Stranger", when i was sitting in the crowd when this was filmed - wonderful. Brilliant performance still. :0)

Fantastic, brings out memories that seem to have been quashed by the modern age of sterile entertainment (and a touch of old age) Those really were good times.Impossible with the oppression in the UK since they all voted in the CJB. Now, where's my old stash tin, must be a white lightning or a window pane in there somewhere, ipod in the garden shed for 48 hours I think with fried egg sandwiches and rough cider 4tw.

Mann(aka Manfred Mann) played sometime during the three days also some Reggie/Calypso band. The Enid were the best - very atmospheric.
